Revit 2020 is rolling out across the World and a lot of our customers have been testing it and using it.
I got a tech support call from a customer last week who had an issue where Revit suddenly went into Viewer Mode mid-session for an inexplicable reason. I’d never seen this happen before but it turns out that this is a bug that Autodesk has discovered in Revit 2020.
The Good news is that there is a hot-fix for the issue which you can download from the Autodesk Account Center or you can obtain from the Autodesk Desktop App.
In the Desktop App, click on the little downward facing arrow to reveal all the updates and add-ins for all the software installed on your system:
Go into the Account Center and click on Product Updates. You should be able to see updates for any subscription (desktop rental) products that you have been assigned.
If you do venture into the Account Center, have a look at some of the enhancements for your product whilst you’re there. There could be some gems.
