The Autodesk Fusion CAD Fundamentals online training course introduces the principles of parametric modelling and the design philosophy that underlies Fusion. Through a hands-on, practice-driven approach, you’ll develop the core skills needed to create and refine 3D models efficiently within the software.
Topics covered include: The Autodesk Fusion interface Creating, constraining, and dimensioning 2D sketches Creating and editing solid 3D features Creating and using construction features Creating equations and working with parameters Manipulating the feature history of a design Duplicating geometry in a design Placing and constraining/connecting components in a single design file Defining motion in a multi-component design Creating components and features in a multi-component design Creating and editing T-spline geometry Documenting a design in drawings Defining structural constraints and loads for static analysis
Prerequisites: No prior 3D modelling experience is required, but an understanding of engineering terminology is useful. Experience with Windows is also required.
Certification: Upon successful completion of the course and submission of a course evaluation, attendees will receive an official Autodesk certificate of completion. The evaluation must be completed within 30 days of finishing the course to qualify for certification.
