In this online training course, you will learn the workflow in Autodesk InfraWorks to build an existing condition model using multiple standard industry data sources.
You’ll also learn how to add and style 3D design elements such as roads, trees, and buildings, create storyboard animations, and explore integrations with other Autodesk applications like Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Revit to develop rich, data-driven models.
Topics covered include:
Getting started:
User interface navigation, create and manage models, sourcing existing conditions, import, configure and display data sources, model builder, working with styles and style rules
Creating new designs:
Proposals, creating new planning roads, buildings, city furniture, vegetation, water features, coverages, grading areas
Component roads:
Roadside grading, editing horizontal and vertical design of a roadway, reviewing super elevations and cross sections, intersections, roundabouts, and volume.
Point cloud modeling:
Point cloud terrain, linear and vertical feature extraction
Presenting your design:
Snapshots, storyboard animation
Collaborating with others:
BIM Collaborate overview, work with Autodesk Revit models, bridges, share design elements with AutoCAD, Civil 3d, ArcGIS connector
Prerequisites:
Participants should have prior experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, along with a solid understanding of structural detailing principles and documentation workflows. A working knowledge of the Windows operating system is also required.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course and submission of a course evaluation, attendees will receive an official Autodesk certificate of completion. The evaluation must be completed within 30 days of finishing the course to qualify for certification.
