Revit 2018 Structural Precast Extension for Revit 2018

Autodesk released the Autodesk Structural Precast Extension for Revit 2018 a few months ago. We recommend you install it if you are involved in any way in the design of precast structures. It offers some very good tools to allow anyone involved in designing precast building to design & document more efficiently and of course, since you’re operating in the BIM world, you have greater accuracy and the ability to coordinate your model to a very high of detail.

On another note, if you have gone in to the tool and used it, you may notice a warning popping up in Revit when you make any changes to Curtain Walls. This is a small bug but it simply fixed by going into the Precast tab and then clicking on the “power button” to switch if off.
