Just like how you would take a box of specific tools to a site to use, Tool Chest is a storing feature that allows you to organise pre-drawn objects and groups into a tab for later use. You can also add to the tool chest by clicking the subfolder You can rearrange the order of the saved objects within the folder by dragging them around.

Having your own storage unit doesn’t sound as interesting as it’s quite common to have one in software nowadays; However, the tool chest function comes with its own perks. you can make your own keyboard shortcuts for the markups you intend to focus on by creating your own personal tool chest that works for you as not everyone will use the same tools to make their markups and content.

 In terms of the tools, they can be a single markup or a group of markups and will retain whatever properties they have when you add them to your tool chest.

If you make a set of tools the structure does not change if you switch to another profile. I like this feature because if your company uses profiles, you can still have your own tool chest with the items that are most useful to your workflow regardless of what changes the powers-that-be decided to make. No one else can edit it except you. You can also arrange your toolset within the bundle you have created if you use one tool mainly in comparison to others.

Scaling can be tricky but will the tool chest you are now able to draw them to the scale that you require.

If you ever find yourself using the same several markups over and over again, try putting them in my tools you’ll have a tool chest that’s unique to you that even your Bluebeam Admins can’t even edit, plus you’ll get your keyboard shortcuts if you are able to master that level. 

My tools can be found at the top of the tool chest tab. If you don’t see it, click on the tool chest dropdown, then click on My Tools.
